This transformative student housing master plan connected a series of outdoor rooms fostering community and responding to the natural terrain.
As a Project Architect, I played a key role in the design of this LEED Gold Certified student and faculty housing project that won the University of California San Diego Mesa Campus Housing Competition. I directed the internal production staff for 3 buildings from schematic design through construction documents, coordinated the housing design with building and energy code requirements, as well as managed all drawing submissions. During the competition, I studied campus layout, as well as unit layouts for the faculty buildings and student microunits.
